This week was a very hard week cause of the heat. Even during the night with a fan 5 inches from my face I was sweating. So, I have been reading the book "Our Search for Happiness" and omg it is an amazing book. I can't stop reading it. The things he says are so amazing and its helping me understand more things. It's just so good. I suggest you guys read it. Today was a fun day. We started off the morning rushing around and getting ready to leave cause we were going out to an Indian tribe that is about 2 hours away. First we had to take a bus about 1 hour to this city called Horqueta, and from there the adventure began. Usually when you go out there you take a bus and it is a horrible ride, but this time we took a truck. All we did was call and ask for the biggest truck they had and they said it was a huge one so we thought that it was going to be fine and everything. So we were waiting and everything and all of a sudden this truck pulls up and it is tiny. Like one of the smaller trucks that I have seen. He waves us over and asks us if we're ready to go to Pado Ita, the Indian tribe, and so we laugh, but he is serious. So me and 5 other big missionaries jump in the back of this small truck and go on this crazy bumpy road for an hour...but the whole way was amazingly pretty but amazingly hot...like 120 degrees, so I thought I was going to die. We get there and we were supposed to have a baptism and a wedding but things weren't ready so we had to leave and go all the way back. On the way back the chief came with us and some girl so the truck that was already too full, got fuller...so it was a long, hot trip back...but really fun. haha Love you so much...all of you. Chan
