San Lorenzo, Paraguay (November 9, 2009)

Well hello there family. How are you all doing?¿?¿
I am doing good, just really tired. So it is dangerous here …. for the people who have motos. So far I have seen 4 accidents that were actually pretty bad. A couple days ago a guy was trying to show off and he tried a wheelie with a girl on the back and he fell and the bike landed on the girl. Lucky she was not hurt that bad. Like it messed up her knee, but no blood.
Anyways, this week nothing really that amazing happened. We worked a lot, and it was cool. It rained and we had a few funny contacts. So we were in a division and so I clapped and then this girl comes out of the house and she has that makeup stuff on, like a mask and so I start to laugh and my comp laughs as well and then when she comes closer we decide to try to be professional, and that does not last that long. Right after I start to talk and bust out laughing because she had blue all over her face. But it was fine, cause she said that we could come back and so it was cool.
Nothing too crazy happened this week, just the usual. I almost got hit by a car. It turned on a one way street and it was about an inch from hitting me, but that was really the only big thing that happened.
We are starting to find a lot of people and it is good, cause the people that we had are starting to fall. But yesterday we found a lady who was like waiting for us. We were walking by her house and then we passed the house and then I felt something telling me to go back, so we did and the lady received us and told us that she wants to go to church. She is a single mom and she was nice and I really hope that she progresses. She seems like the type that will.
So this change has gone by really fast. It's fun here. People are starting to call me president of the ward cause I have been here for such a long time. I have the most time anyone has ever had in this area. It will be sad to leave, but I want to get to know another place in Paraguay.
