San Lorenzo, Paraguay (June 15, 2009)

Well family, This week was a good week for the most part. Monday we had changes and I got a new comp. My comps name is Elder Scott and he is from Minnesota. This week we were getting to know the area a little better cause I only have about 6 weeks here so I don't know the whole area yet and so we are getting to know the area together so it's going to be an adventure.
This area is a little harder, but we are still working and pushing forward. This week we found some people that I hope will progress. We had 6 people that were getting ready for baptism and I think only 3 are going to get baptized. We are going to have a baptism next week on Saturday and the girl is way cool. She is really progressing and it is cool that we are finding the people that are going to progress and want to follow.
The work here is good. This week was a little slow, but next week we are really going to pick it up and hopefully see the fruits of our labor. But the time is passing by fast. It's crazy how many weeks and minutes have gone by, but I just have to work hard until the end. The mission is a lot different from what I thought it was and it's good. Today I bought a 32 gb memory chip, pen drive for 35 dollars. It's a good one to put all my pictures on.
Love you all and hope that you are all doing good. Love you. Chan
