San Lorenzo, Paraguay (July 13, 2009)

Hey there family How are you all doing? I hope that you are all doing good this week with all the activities that you are all doing. But this day, we went to this place called the expo and it is really cool. It is like a carnival and we were able to go and buy stuff. I got a crazy cool bag and a wood carved statue of the god from Guarani legends. But it reminded me of Disneyland cause I haven't seen anything like it for a long time.
But I think this Sunday was the day that I found out being a parent is not easy work!! So in church this lady brought 10 kids that are not hers and it was crazy. So I got up and sat between them. This week we were really trying to find new people to teach and it is just so hard in this area. We are contacting a lot of people but it's not enough. But we did find a couple people that want to get baptized and so that is really cool and we are going to help them.
This week we had a lot of divisions and I had to go to different areas and do baptism interviews so it was a lot of sitting on buses.
This week was a good one. Nothing too crazy to talk about. Love you all.
Questions...

Q: How did you cut your head?
A: Walking under barbed wire. It is the thing that stinks about being a country where people aren't very tall.
Q: Did you get to go to the temple again? A: Not yet.
Q: Have you heard of any parents picking up their missionary in your mission?
A: Yeah. In a week 2 families are coming.
Q: How was the missionary work this week?
A: Hard, just a little slow.
Q: How many missionaries do you live with?
A: Just me and my comp. The whole mission is now like that.
Q: Is it cold there right now?
A: Yeah, really cold.
