Concepcion, Paraguay (April 6, 2009)

Hola Familia. How are you all doing? Right now it's really, really hot but it's all good, like I'm just chillin' like a villin' cause we have air conditioning.
This Thursday we got back to Concepcion at 5:30 in the morning and slept in cause the travel was the worst I have ever taken. The 20 hour trip I took to get here was not as bad.
We had to work hard to get everything ready for a baptism that we were going to have and everything went really good. He is such a good convert.
I have seen about 25 people converted and all of them are still going to church that I know of except for one, so that's good.
Then Saturday we had a wedding planned and that was the most stress I have ever had, cause I have never planned a wedding. We called the judge and he told us we could have the wedding at 6:30 and we had already invited all the people for 7:00 so we ran to his house to make it happen at 7:00. Then we went to Conference and in the middle we had to run over to the judge's house again to fill out papers, so we took some bikes that did not have brakes so it was kinda scary. The wedding came and it all went smooth. We were planning for about 45 people but about 100 came.

Then all of them came to the baptism after. I gave a talk at the baptism. The mom of the lady we baptized said the prayer and was crying the whole time. Our other convert, who is the lady's nephew, baptized her. It was one of the best things in Paraguay that I have seen. After 3 weeks of fighting with the papers we got her in the waters of baptism. I felt like it was a huge accomplishment.
But yeah, that is all. I hope you're all doing good. Love you. Chan
